Les attentats du 11 septembre 2001 ont eu un grand retentissement dans l'opinion. Quel fut leur effet sur la bourse?

Habituellement les marchés boursiers évoluent de façon cohérente avec l'index planétaire. Un évènement important peut sans doute les perturber momentanément, mais ils retrouvent assez vite leur cours normal.

Le 11 septembre 2001 la bourse de New York était dans une phase de baisse, nettement signalée par l'index planétaire. Visiblement, la baisse a continué jusqu'au mois d'octobre, en accord avec l'index planétaire MetaBourse. On ne peut pas vraiment affirmer que les attaques terroristes aient produit un changement notable.

coloured areas: Their colours indicate rising or falling. Their sizes suggest their contribution to the daily change. The strength of the colours are significant of the probability of this change.
yellow line: Gives a mean estimate of the daily percentage of change. The direction of the indicated change is at least as important as the position of the curve in the positive or négative area.
